This is specifically for Heard By God, no offense intended.
I've noticed that in your stories, you don't really describe what's going on, you just say it. If you've ever taken a writing course you have probably heard this over and over again; show, don't tell.

The boy ate his apple while he watched the ducks swim in the lake.
In this sentence, your just saying what the boy is doing.

The boy munched on his apple while he watched the ducks as they floated on the lake.
In this sentence, your describing what the boy and ducks is doing without saying exactly what the ducks and the boy are doing.
Hope this helps some of you with your writing!
Happy writing!
