Zielle S.
9/24/2014

"I knew Mom would believe you because she cut me off, when you would try to tell her you didn't put the frog on your chair. I'd get a worse punishment than I'm having now, because I lied." Kari grinned. "My only punishment is helping Mom cook. I love cooking!"

I groaned. She wasn't sorry? Of course she wasn't. She never was.

The school neared, and I separated with Kari as quickly I could, and I hurried home, as quick as I could.

"Hi, Mable!" Dad greeted me at the door.

Kari ran to catch up.

"We've decided to let you have a vacation away from home, with your friends." Mom announced.

"REALLY?!" I shouted. Kari stood, mouth open.

"Take Kari with you.

I nearly fainted. A vacation? With Kari? She'd embarrass me in front of my friends, and probably make me go around with her everywhere.

"You want to go?" Dad asked.

I stuttered. "Uhm…Yeah. Sure. W-when?"

"Tomorrow evening, at the latest, in Kenton.

Kenton? Seriously? I had been waiting forever. But-it be ruined.
