Sooo... (I don't even know if people remember me!) I've been on this website since I was 11. You guys know that I've considered leaving before, and now I think that it's the end of the FaithWriters road for me. I'm going on to write an entire series of horror novels, which I don't believe would be the best thing to post here. I'm not sure that this is the last thing you will hear from me; I still might post some sparse poetry here and there. I'm just not here anymore, you know? I'm still working on 'They Come In Swarms' (TCIS) and it will be available for download sometime next year. So, just to let you know what I've been working on, Here is a tiny raw excerpt (un-edited) from TCIS.

A chorus of tortured growls and prolix screams of startlement filled the air with dazzling excitement, corresponding with the unexpected sight that met Nathan’s eyes. A section of fence along the outer perimeter of Warehouse 9’s territory had been torn away, laying in bloody pieces on the ground where a swarm of Crawlers trod. As he neared the scene, hollow faces gnashed at him, occasionally falling back with spurts of black fluid at the hand of a Survivor in combat. He confronted one of the Crawlers; leathered jaws sunken into its indistinguishable face, making the soft hairs on the back of Nathan’s neck stand up. He ran forward and ripped the former-humans esophagus from it with his tapered fingers, twisting around to decapitate another with the tattered blade of his knife. With cranial fluid sprayed onto the right side of his strong neck, he scanned the battle-field for Brandi. Once he finally located her red hair in the flashes of blood, he watched her for only a moment. He heard the clap of her gun as she shot lead from its flailing muzzle; he watched the wet slap of her victim against the blood-stained background. For a short frame of wasted time, he saw them all for what Dr. Keller had forced them to be: Murderers.
I took down the gore level on this paragraph just to post it here, and it probably makes no sense out of context, but I just wanted to let you all know what I've been working on. Hopefully it will be MUCH better after editing.
Well, for the most part, this is goodbye to FaithWriters. You guys have helped my writing flourish and I love you for that. I'm so so SO grateful for all the feedback and support you've given me, and it's just so amazing how far all of you have come.
