Bring home a healthy goldfish.
The Tank
The recommended tank size for one goldfish is 10-20 gallons.Purchasing a filtration system is also necessary, and an air pump heater is also recommended but possible to care for your fish without it. Before putting fish into its new home let the filter run for 10-25 minuets to make sure the water is clean. Rocks and decor provide a fun place for the fish to swim about. Make sure not to overcrowd the tank.
