I blushed a deep crimson. I ran up the stairs to my bed room. I threw on my favourite blue dress with my black knee length leggings after I took off my previous attire. I brushed my bed head hair and pulled it back with a blue ribbon. When I got downstairs everyone was eating waffles, bacon, and eggs. I joined in and soon I was laughing at myself for thinking it was Monday. We left the house at 9 and arrived at church at 9:15. The service starts at 10:30. My mom and dad are the youth pastors so they have to be there early, 9:30, for Sunday School. We have five Sunday School classes before and during church. They are ages 5-7, ages 8-10, ages 11-13, teen, and nursery. My mom does Nursery and my dad does 8-10. My leader is Jackie and I am in 11-13. Evening and Morn are in Teen, After and Noon are with dad for 8-10, and Midnight is with them. I rushed up the stairs to our Classroom. Our group is called Growing STRONG. STRONG means Stick Together Reach Out Need God. Our symbol is a tree. We are learning about prayer this month. Jackie is in the classroom when I get there along with her daughter, my best friend, Hannah. We embrace and sit down to wait for the rest of the group while Jackie prepares the lesson. At 9:30 everyone is here. Our class is made up of Carl Kingsbury, Caitlyn Kingsbury, Brad Humphrey, and Logan Jones. Brad, Logan and Caitlyn are in my class at school. Carl is in Hannah's. "Everyone here?" says Jackie. "Yes!" We all respond. Jackie brings up a projection on the wall of a song for us to start our morning. "We are going to sing My Redeemer Lives today ladies and gentlemen." We all start singing the song along with the music. I bet my mom is getting her kids to do a craft right now. "Today we learn how to pray for a friend." says Jackie, "When you pray for a friend it could be because they are sad, or they have been really nice and you want to bless them. Praying for a friend is a good thing. Everyone get out your Bibles and Prayer Journals. I want you to write a prayer about a friend and then pray it. Go to your section and do that." I brought out my blue Prayer Journal and went to my corner where I wrote about my friend, Celina, who's grandma died recently. I also wrote about what a good friend Hannah is. When the lesson was over and It was 10:25 everyone ran downstairs really quickly. We got to the Sanctuary just in time for opening prayer.
