3:00am
All of the population, except teenagers, are gone. I have packed tanktops, long-sleeved shirts, shorts, pants, jeans, shoes, and jackets in a bag. A brush, tooth brush, shampoo, body wash, deodarant, and body mist were also packed with books, notebooks, pencils, sharpeners, and paper towels.
6:00am
I had two packs on my shoulders as I began the walk to my region. A single tear ran down my cheek as I thought about my mother, father, and two brothers all dead. Only was my eldest brother alive in a region farther from me. Each step felt like going to a new life. I thought about what this boy would look like. My crush with slick, black hair with gray saddened eyes, a deep passion for me, slightly muscular, and a kind, non-jerk person. A cute one to help me grow food, make clothes, and populate. Ugh...populate. My dad's last words were, "Populate as soon as you can, even at age fifteen." More tears fell and I had to stop, cry, and wipe the tears as they came down.
8:34am
I was nearly at my location and I could see a log cabin by a pond with small streams coming through. Everything was deserty with what looked like a marsh a little ways. I hadn't eaten or drinken anything for a little over two hours. I was parched and famished with my stomach growling like a fierce tiger.
8:40am
I had finally arrived at the location. I walked inside the cabin to see a dirty blonde headed boy scribbling in a journal. He had a slight build. He looked up and I reconized those blue eyes right away. "Jordan!" I shrieked, my middle school crush. "Hi," he said standing up. Jordan was the class clown that was really kind. I hugged him, and soon he was unpacking my bag. "Listen," I said. Jordan stopped me. "Listen, we'll find food, grow it, get used to living, then move on." I guessed he had alot of time to think about it so I nodded. He asked me if I had a safe trip, and I said yes. He finished unpacking and I couldn't help being so lucky.
