Presents for every girl and boy
But people tend to forget
When playing with their new catcher's mitt
Sure, all these things are nice and jolly
Decking the halls with boughs of holly
But just pause for a moment
Remember what this holiday meant
To everyone, living on this earth
Listen to the angels, singing Christ's birth
Just pause, so you can see
These wonderful blessings for you and me.
