As I ran along the sidewalk, loud cars honked their horns and drove along, loudly.
The birds were twittering beautiful tunes and the grass smelt like it had just been mowed.
Occasional dog walkers and joggers passed me and we said quick hello's. They moved on pretty quickly! (It was either they kept to a strict schedule, they were timing themselves or they didn't want to be seen with a 13 year old eating plain cocopops out of a ziplock bag.)
The wind in my face felt refreshing.
The breeze through my hair was awakening.
If I wasn't in a rush I would of been tempted to take a leasurly stroll and pick a bunch of flowers.....but NO! I had to make it to my little sister's birthday party, whether I liked it or not. FunHouse Indoor Playground is the best. It was a bonus that there was a birthday party there!
FunHouse Playground is not just for little kids. Its for babies (6-12 months old), toddlers (1-4yrs), kids (5-11yrs) and teens (12-15yrs).
In the Babies section there are colourful books, a couple of shiny mirrors, choke free cars and a little red slide which is only 2ft off the ground.
In the Toddlers section, there's and ball pit, filled with colourful plastic balls, books and a small boat which you can go into and inside it there are mirror's hung up, an abacus (for kids!) and a dress up box with fairy wings, a crown that sort of stuff, and last but NOT least in the toddlers section there is a big cubby house with curtains, a kitchen, cooking tools, a sink, and the house even has a small garage with two red ride on cars!
In the Kids section, there's a flying fox, four slides, a climbing frame, obticles and a big jumping castle. There are vidio games in a corner and there's air hockey, ping pong and pool tables set up in a room. They've even got a soccer court!
In the Teens section there are slides, (including a drop slide which it 5mtrs off the ground, my personal fav!) there are video games, a Teen snack bar (for TEENS ONLY!), an aeroplane and boat simulator, pingpong, air hockey and pool tables, there's a big swing which you use a crank to push (Four people can go on at once and your strapped on and you go really high!), there's a climbing frame and a HUGE, I mean HUGE trampoline!
FunHouse Playground is THE BEST!
I arrived at the car park, tired and breathless.
This was strange! My mums car was parked there!
Of course! Tristan must of driven the gang in mums car!
I opened the doors, payed the entry fee, and went to the party room. My jaw dropped open.
My mum was standing there, talking to some parents!
"Mum!" I interrupted, pushing my way through the crowd.
"Hi honey!" My mum said, noticing me.
"What are you doing here?" I was still in shock.
"I drove here! You left before I could offer you to come with me!"
I groaned and fell into the nearest chair.
It would take a while to get all my stamina back....................
