“Just pretend that your thankful for a roof over your head and have plenty of things to do,” Jerusha said
“What if we just ran away next week?” Sally sujested.
“That sounds like a good idea!” Jasmine said. “If we are going to run away this winter, we should probably do it in the next week or two.”
“Okay, that means we need to save wup a little of a our ration everyday. So that when we runaway we will have food incase we can’t find a friendly house!”
So they decided to run away intwo weeks. The slaves told a few others who gave them this advice.
“Are you crazy! If you want to save your hide you better get that idea out of your stubbon head!”
Jasmine, Sally, and Jerusha wouldn't listen and kept planning their escape.
